It was great meeting everyone on Wednesday, and we appreciate all of the signatures and the time you made to sign our petition. Someone came by and signed, and as she was leaving, uttered these words, "If they get rid of the desert, there won't be any reason to live here." I think that is a great tagline, and I agree with the sentiment to an extent. We all moved here, in all likelihood, because of the desert, the beauty, the remoteness of the area. It's funny, I see people complain about having to drive to A.J.'s for groceries, or to Sprouts or Safeway. They seemingly wish to have grocery located closer to the area, but if you look at those sites, you don't just get a grocery store. You also get a strip mall atmosphere, and the kind of constant traffic that I presume we moved here to avoid. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but that is precisely why we moved here.
